Most of us spent the whole month of April at home due to MCO and I believe many see a significant reduction in their daily expenses. Unless… online shopping. That sucker.
I’ve managed to save RM8,101.00 for my emergency fund in 4 months, say whaaat? Here are some practical ways that work, and also some ways that I’ve tried but just didn’t work for me.

Putting aside the worrying pandemic, our present of being stuck at home and the uncertainty of our future; it’s actually a pretty uneventful month for me in terms of my no buy year journey. I’m on a default mode now – everything goes into my savings.
This whole post only has one point – we’re currently staying at home to break the coronavirus chain but perhaps after this is all over, it is time for us to break the vicious chain and cycle of living paycheck to paycheck.
